UES Promura (formerly Union Engineering Supplies), located in Melbourne Australia, commenced business in 1966 and remains under the original ownership today. The company manufactures and imports a wide variety of products that include the following: -
Band-It Stainless Steel Band and Hose Clamps are widely used throughout the world to secure hose, pipes, poles and cables and perform scores of other clamping functions.
Industrial Absorbents are used for the clean up of oil and hazardous chemical and oil spills. Available products are Absorbent 5000 and SpillFix as well as a wide variety of Pads, Socks, Pillows and Spill Kits for both Hydrocarbon spills and HazChem spills.
UES Promura has imported and distributed Band-It and Granular Absorbents since 1966.
In February 1997, Union Engineering Supplies acquired Promura Trading Pty Ltd and amalgamated that business and staff into a new entity, UES Promura.
Promura Trading Pty Ltd supplied the hardware, electrical, building, concreting and plumbing industries since 1938.
