Terms of Use

These terms explain how you may use UES Promura’s websites, product resources and online tools.

Effective date: 27 October 2026

1. About these terms

UES Promura (ABN 55 155 859 127), referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”, operates uespromura.com.au, band-it-australia.com.au and spareparts.band-it-australia.com.au. These terms also cover our website aliases that redirect to those sites.

These terms apply when you use our websites. Please read them before using our content or tools. If you do not accept them, please stop using the websites. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information; these terms do not replace any consent required by law.

2. Using our websites and resources

You may browse our sites, link to our public pages, and download or print product documents for legitimate personal or business purposes, including product selection, installation, maintenance and project assessment. Keep copyright notices, safety warnings, document identity and relevant qualifications with any copies. Separate licence terms or restrictions identified in a document still apply.

Our content, designs, photographs and documents are owned by us or their respective rights holders. BAND-IT names, trademarks and manufacturer materials remain the property of their owners. Use of our websites does not transfer those rights. Please obtain permission before republishing substantial content, altering documents for redistribution, using brand assets in a way that implies endorsement, or reselling our content.

Do not misuse our sites by attempting unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, submitting unlawful or misleading material, impersonating another person, bypassing security or rate limits, or using automation that disrupts the service. Ordinary search-engine indexing and reasonable links to public pages are permitted, subject to applicable access controls and published crawler instructions.

3. Product and technical information

We take reasonable care with website information, but content can contain errors, become outdated or describe a particular product revision. Confirm current specifications, availability, pricing and suitability with us before committing to an order or project. If a summary differs from its source document, check the full document and ask us to resolve the difference.

Brochures, drawings, test reports and material data describe the products, configurations and conditions identified in those documents. A product family, component dimension or material description does not by itself establish compliance, a short-circuit rating or approval for your installation. Use the applicable instructions and safety information, and have the complete assembly, design and installation assessed by a suitably qualified person where required.

Calculators, selectors and AI Search

These tools help you find information and prepare an enquiry. Their outputs depend on the inputs, source material and supported configurations. Search results and document excerpts may omit important context or return an unsuitable match. Read the original document, confirm the exact product and tested arrangement, and obtain project-specific advice before relying on a result for design, procurement or installation. A generated shortlist or calculator sheet is not an engineering approval.

Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, sensitive personal information or confidential project material into AI Search. See our AI Search privacy information for how search questions are processed.

4. Enquiries, prices and online orders

An enquiry or request for a quotation does not itself place an order. Quotations, accepted orders and any separately agreed supply terms govern the relevant transaction. These website-use terms do not add a new returns policy or replace rights attached to an existing purchase.

Check the item code, tool compatibility, quantity, currency, GST, delivery charges and total shown before paying in the spare-parts store. Payment is handled through Stripe’s hosted checkout. Delivery information shown at checkout is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise. Please contact us promptly if an order or payment appears incorrect.

If a price, description or availability error affects an order, we will contact you to resolve it rather than assume you have accepted a different product or price. Any cancellation, refund or other remedy remains subject to applicable law and the relevant order terms.

6. Consumer rights and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including those under the Australian Consumer Law. This includes any applicable rights concerning product quality, fitness for a disclosed purpose, descriptions, services and remedies.

Subject to those rights, our general website content is provided for information and should be checked for your particular circumstances. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by misuse of the websites or reliance on general information without the product, document and application checks described above. This does not exclude responsibility that we cannot lawfully exclude, or alter an express commitment we have made to you.

7. Updates and applicable law

We may update these terms as our websites or services change. The current version and effective date will appear on this page. Material changes will be identified here, with additional notice where appropriate or required by law. Changes apply to future website use and do not retrospectively change an existing order or accrued right.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any right you have under applicable law to bring a claim elsewhere.
