What does the supporting evaluation report?
BAND-IT Engineering’s 24 April 2026 internal evaluation identifies a PPA 571-coated 316 stainless steel BAND-FAST assembly, part LFFC-F1015M***-A900, with a cable outside diameter of 34.14 mm. It reports sustained exposure above 800 °F (427 °C) for more than 120 minutes, followed by mechanical impacts.
The report says the assembly retained the cable after the exposure and impacts. Read the full report for the mounting arrangement, instrumentation, observations and limitations.
Is this third-party fire certification?
No. The document identifies this as an internal, non-accredited engineering evaluation. It is not accredited BS EN 50200 certification. The separate PPA 571 coating references apply to the coating material, not certification of the complete cleat-and-cable assembly.
How does this relate to a project specification?
Use the result only with its stated test configuration and limits. Fire exposure, short-circuit restraint and coating characteristics answer different questions. For a proposed installation, identify the required performance and review the corresponding evidence for the complete assembly.
Review BAND-FAST selection considerations and data-centre cable-restraint planning.
